SUMMARY:
This position is based in Durban South and is responsible for the management of the production departments in an engineering manufacturing environment to achieve production targets, quality standards and to meet the stringent requirements of their customers

POSITION INFO:

Duties will involve daily, weekly and monthly production planning, implementation of recovery plans and actions when necessary, co-ordination of continuous improvement activities, organisation and operation of production areas in line with various quality improvement and production systems, planning new and modified plant, equipment and processes and managing employees to ensure fullfillment of critical roles and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a B SC Production/Industrial/Engineering and post graduate certification in relevant production or quality systems plus a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar management position.
