Introduction:
Large broiler farm outside Klerksdorp are looking for a mature Production Manager with responsibility and relevant skills to oversee and manage farm

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in managing production or a farm in production environment with supervising skills of +10 people .
• NO job hoppers - must have settled at least 5 years in an similar environment

Knowledge / Skills:

• Gr 12 completed.
• Qualification in Agriculture a preference bur not required
• Valid Drivers license code 8/10
• PC literate in MS office for administration and budgets

Experience:

• +5 years experience in working on a Broiler Farm
• +5 years in management in production of broiler/layer hens
• Experience in general maintenance on farm including electrical skills
• Experience in supervise/manage of workers and oversee production

Duties:

• Manage workers, daily operations, order feed and other supplies.
• Load/off load trucks.
• General maintenance.
• Monitor production.
• Machinery, Tools and Equipment maintenance
• General maintenance on farm.
