Production Manager

Planning and organising production schedules

Assessing project and resource requirements

Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with internal clients and managers

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

Determining and sustaining quality control standards

Overseeing production processes

Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary

Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials

Managing stock levels

Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff

Supervising and managing the work of junior staff

Organizing relevant training sessions.

Skills & Experience:

Production experience

The ability to handle all aspects of staff i.e., performance management, attendance, work schedules.

Accuracy, Cost awareness within the workplace

Management skills

Time management skills

Qualification:

A tertiary, relevant qualification (BEng Industrial would be beneficial)

Minimum 4 – 8 years’ experience within a manufacturing and / or production environment

Passionate about technology
