JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established, high--quality supplier and owner of various butcheries in and around George.

Currently on a recruitment drive to find the Right Production Manager to join their team. Dynamic, hands on, blockman and / or butchery experience required. Production within the meat industry essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Brief requirements and skills:

The ideal candidate MUST COME FROM THE MEAT ENVIRONMENT and have full knowledge of:

Processing of meat / meat cuts

Limiting wastage and spoilage
Production of cold meats
Staff management and leadership
Health safety and hygiene standards
ISO processes
FSSC
Stock control and logistics knowledge
minimum of 8 years in the industry of which 4 must be at senior management level
Afrikaans first language
