SUMMARY:
Local Clothing Manufacturer in Pinetown (Durban) is seeking an experienced CMT Production Manager to run the CMT production floor. The purpose of this role will be to manage all production processes and teams to ensure optimal production output.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Establish and monitor manufacture ready targets.
Manage and oversee all production according to production plan and delivery schedule.
Ensure maximum efficiency by assessing operations and adjusting where necessary.
Oversee and manage machine operators.
Oversee cutting room and outwork flow.
Manage all production floors staff.
Work with QA to ensure quality.
Report progress and escalate any problems to Management.

Requirements

Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role in clothing manufacture (CMT).
Excellent understanding of production processes, leadtimes, and deadlines.
Technical knowledge of sewing machines and operations.
Ability to manage and improve efficiencies where possible.
Leadership and staff management.
Problem solving and decision making.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication.
