Production Manager - Citrus - Malelane

SUMMARY:
Our client that is in the Agricultural industry is looking for a Production Manager to join their team in Malelane.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus further related studies
• An AVCASA and/or BOSAS qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ extensive experience in general farm production, especially citrus farming
• In-depth knowledge of all farming practices, e.g. production, planning and establishing new orchards, fertilisation, pest and disease control, fruit manipulation, mechanisation, utility management, health & safety, environmental, quality (SHEQ), production administration, harvesting process, general personnel administration, risk management, staff management, annual biological asset calculation, limiting expenses
• Computer related skills- MS Office, Outlook, etc.
• Must be literate and conversant in Afrikaans and English and a third language will be an advantage
