SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Production Manager for a permanent role based in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga.
POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- BSc Chem Eng or S4 Chem Eng diploma with 5+ years’ experience in advanced water treatment
- Softening, Ultra filtration, Reverse osmosis experience
- Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets
- Relevant management experience
- MS Office and email ability
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills
- Skills in planning, attention to detail and process troubleshooting
- Innovative and accountable with good client management ability
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:- Manage production team
- Compliance with contractual quality and quantity KPI’s
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain effective administration and control procedures to meet performance objectives
- Continuous improvement and optimization of processes
- Management of stock control
- Monitoring and detail records and reporting on all aspects of the processes, and ongoing projects
- Ensure efficient resource management of employees to ensure they can meet the performance objectives required of them.
- Client feedback meetings and reporting
- Compile Monthly Plant Reports and attend client meetings
- Monitor plant health and pro-actively intervene to ensure plant availability is optimized
- Effective reporting to the operations manager of the area
- Legal representation of company on site
