Production Manager (Industrial Engineer)

Leader in water and wastewater treatment seeks an Industrial Engineer to be employed as Production Manager. Based in PAARL.

You will manage all activities related to production and monitor the efficiency of the bench testing equipment as well as provide production support.

For the position you would be required to have:

• B. Eng/ B. Sc/ B. Tech in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production facility
• Chemical industry experience will be a definite advantage
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Production Manager
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO)
• Highly computer literate

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production department
• Subordinate control and supervision
• Ensure company assets are correctly used and safeguarded
• Monitor the quality, productivity and cost efficiency of the production process
• Manage quality control of raw materials
• Monthly reporting of overall production parameters
• Establish and maintain the latest ISO9001 quality management system
• Establish and maintain a positive and informative relationship with clients
