SUMMARY:
Production Manager required in Pietermaritzburg with min 5 years' experience as a Manager in Feed / Milling / Food manufacturing environments to lead the manufacturing team to ensure metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive manner

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Diploma /Degree in Production Management / Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as manager in an Animal Feed manufacturing / Milling / FMCG environment.

Time Management

Duties Include but not limited to the following:

Lead the manufacturing team to ensure plant metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive manner.
Accountable for the achievement of product quality and foods safety, manufacturing costs, productivity, and OHS compliance.
Will be a key driver in development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
To effectively and efficiently plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications and orders.
Comply with all reporting requirements – monthly, weekly and daily reports.
Manage all issues relating to production staff.
Ensure high standard of housekeeping are maintained in all areas and entire site at all times.
