SUMMARY:
Production Manager required in Pietermaritzburg with min 5 years' experience as a Manager in Feed / Milling / Food manufacturing environments to lead the manufacturing team to ensure metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive manner

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Diploma /Degree in Production Management / Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as manager in an Animal Feed manufacturing / Milling / FMCG environment.

Duties Include but not limited to the following:

• Lead the manufacturing team to ensure plant metrics are achieved in a safe, timely, quality, cost efficient and productive manner.
• Accountable for the achievement of product quality and foods safety, manufacturing costs, productivity, and OHS compliance.
• Will be a key driver in development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• To effectively and efficiently plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications and orders.
• Comply with all reporting requirements – monthly, weekly and daily reports.
• Manage all issues relating to production staff.
• Ensure high standard of housekeeping are maintained in all areas and entire site at all times.
