Looking for a Production Order Manager with experience in heavy engineering and job-shop environment. Must have a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and proven track record of driving efficiency. Temp position based in JHB - Eastern Suburbs.

POSITION INFO:

Production Order Manager

Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)Type: Temp

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, cost, and implement customer projects according to Order Management standards
Lead accurate Order Management operations for assigned organizations
Perform short-term and mid-term production plans
Manage order status, planning, and forecasts for logistics and production
Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to prevent delays
Ensure OTD is achieved and costs are within acceptable parameters

What You Bring:

Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5-10 years relevant work experience in heavy engineering
Exposure to CNC and conventional lathes machines
