JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to oversee the Production Planning Department. You will be the one to ensure orders are planned on time for distribution to customers as per delivery requirements. The goal for the Production Planning Manager is to ensure planning is done considering efficiency at all the company's production points, as well as taking into account warehousing and distribution constraints.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimal delay
Assign staff to particular production operations
Schedule shift according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience as a production planner
Excellent knowledge of production planning and time in motion principles
Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs and ERP systems
Strong organisational and problem solving skills
Excellent communication abilities.
