Production Planning Manager (Permanent)

Manufacturing client is seeking a Manger for tier Dyehouse Department. 

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree - Industrial or Mechanical Engineering 
• Minimum 5 years Team Supervision/Management 
• Experience in Production Planning is required - Dyehouse preferable 
• Be able to effectively plan, monitor and improve production outputs 
• Be dedicated to and driven by Quality Improvements and production efficiency ethic 
• Be able to communicate effectively at all levels of business
• BE able to function well in a s
• A sound knowledge of the ISO 90001 Quality Management System is preferable 
• Monitor compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental requirements in the workplace
• Be able to functions well in a stressful environment in order to meet Quality and Production targets
• Be able to control motivate the staff to work as a team and have strong leaderships abilities 
• Be able to effectively budget, monitor and control costs within the area of responsibility 
• Must be computer literate - MS Words, Excel 
• Must ensure that all staff operate accordingly to standard operating procedures and within the parameters of the set departmental procedure's and applicable legislation 
• Monitor compliance to safety, health and environment al requirements in the workplace
• Must be able to monitor the conditions of the machines in the department and in the department and initiate action where required.
