Production / Plant Manager

SUMMARY:
Ensure production plan is full achieved on time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost and environment need. Drive continuous improvement through TPM.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure finished products are consistently manufactured to prescribed standards, delivered on time, and meet consumer expectations.
• Effectively manage the Daily Operational Review (DOR), ensuring clear communication of targets and escalation of issues to align with short-term objectives.
• Utilize Weekly Operational Reviews (WOR) and Monthly Operational Reviews (MOR) for medium- and long-term planning to meet production goals and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Motivate, guide, support, and coach team members to achieve objectives in line with NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence) principles.
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with local laws, striving for zero accidents through ongoing coaching and promotion of safety behaviors.
• Develop and implement workforce training programs to ensure flexibility and optimal utilization of resources and assets.
• Focus on material availability, quality of finished goods, and on-time delivery through efficient resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement using NCE methodologies.
• Drive operational excellence by supporting operators and staff in their tasks and initiatives.
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and teams, enabling them to reach their full potential and achieve objectives.
• Develop succession plans and training programs for direct reports, ensuring leadership continuity and skills development.
• Ensure smooth factory operations by maintaining positive employee and industrial relations.
• Ensure timely and efficient market launch of new products in alignment with business unit agreements.

• Degree or Diploma in Food Technology.
• 6 to 8 years related experience.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and achieving objectives.
• Extensive experience across diverse manufacturing environments and operations, adapting to varied challenges and requirements.
• Successfully led cross-functional projects, driving alignment and delivering results across multiple departments.
• Skilled in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and fostering employee engagement, with hands-on experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.
• Active participation in Rive-Reine seminars focused on Ensuring Supply, R&D, and Technical Management.
• Strong background in Change Management, effectively guiding teams through transitions and process optimizations.
