Production and Quality Control Supervisor
Pretoria
R20 000 - R22 000 Per month

My client in the East of Pretoria is looking for a supervisor to join their dynamic team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Have good management and organisational skills. A team leader who can think on his feet
Have a valid drivers’ license
Have a Millwright, Electromechanician, Electrical or other relevant electrical qualification
Have 2 – 3 years’ experience in production and quality control, electrical panel wiring, as well as PVC plumbing
Overseeing workflow in the electrical and hydraulic workshop
Updating Stores and Sales personnel locally and at other branches about progress and delays with regards manufacturing
Designing and drafting electrical panel drawings
Improving products and manufacturing processes
Manufacturing of electrical panels, fertilizer injection systems and related products
Quality control of manufactured items
Accurate recording of materials used in each panel and promptly communicating it to Stores
Assisting Stores with regards to picking items for each build
Assisting Stores with electrical stock order projections and recommended stock levels
Assisting Stores with testing of electronic stock received from suppliers
Testing and troubleshooting of returned electrical and electronic items
Maintenance of hand and power tools
Good housekeeping in the workshop area
Maintaining a safe work environment in the workshop area
