We're seeking a qualified Professional Accountant (SA) who wants more than a 9-to-5. This is an opportunity for someone who's eager to build their own book of clients within an established, values-driven practice - with full support, guidance, and shared infrastructure. What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of a portfolio of clients (existing + new)
• Conduct monthly accounting maintenance, including VAT, Payroll, Credit Control
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements & manage audit prep
• Advise on and implement cloud-based accounting solutions (Xero + partner apps)
• Provide operational support and insights to business owners
• Handle Company Income Tax and Secretarial requirements
• Participate in our collaborative network - share knowledge, ideas, and support
• Over time: mentor junior team members and contribute to practice growth

What we're looking for

• SAIPA Qualified (registered Professional Accountant), and Registered Tax Practitioner
• Completed SAIPA Articles, no more than 5 years additional experience
• Proficient in Xero and comfortable exploring related tools
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Solid communicator who enjoys working with clients, not just for them
• Cape Town-based or willing to travel for occasional in-person collaboration
