SUMMARY:
Great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a Market Leader in the Building Services Industry. In this position, you will work on exciting government and private projects, responsible for Electrical Building Services and Reticulation Design, as well as site inspections.

POSITION INFO:

Electrical Building Services Design (CCTV, access controls, Fire Detection, etc)

Electrical Reticulation layouts and Schematic Line Diagrams

Project management

Financial reports for projects

LV and MV lighting design

Site investigations

Attending project meetings for client requirements

Providing cost estimates

Detailed designs for Reticulation and Electrical Building Services

Specifications and tender documentation

Compiling bill of quantities

Skills & Experience:

Electrical Building services Design experience

LV and MV reticulation design experience

Ability to meet deadlines

Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Relux software

Conducting Site Inspections

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Minimum 6 – 10 years’ experience in Electrical Building Services and Reticulation design role

Qualification:

BEng / BSc Electrical Engineering

Must be professionally registered with ECSA (PR.ENG)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
