SUMMARY:
Our client in the Construction Industry is seeking a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their Quantity Surveying Department in Cape Town - CBD

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying Professional Registration (Pr.QS) Minimum 4-5 years' experience (up to 6-10 years' experience will be advantageous) Valid driver's license Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills WINQS DIMX MS Word MS Excel (strong proficiency required) Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate design documentation Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates Compile Bills of Quantities and contract documentation Conduct financial evaluation of tenders Administer cash flow forecasts, cost reports, valuations, variation orders, and contractual claims Prepare and negotiate final accounts Attend project and client meetings Formulate, review, and analyse repair estimates Prepare viability studies, damage costings, and determine value at risk Liaise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors Key Competencies & Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a team Leadership ability Adaptability and flexibility High attention to detail Emotional intelligence Excellent time management skills Conflict resolution skills Client relationship management skills Negotiation skills Analytical and creative thinking Strong budgeting, estimating, procurement, and cost control skills Commitment to quality assurance
