Programme Manager - Professional Quantity Surveyor

A well-established company based in Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled and registered Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team as a Programme Manager,

In this role, you'll be responsible for the managing, delivering, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the WCGDoI programme.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying and PrQS professional registration with SACQAP.
• Experience in the Construction Industry.
• 3 year Post-Registration experience a must.
• Experience in contracts (JBCC and NEC) administration and financial administration.
• Knowledge of CIDB, PROCSA, Fee Scales, consultant’s appointments.
• Problem Solving by analysing and process information, asking probing questions.
• Building Relationships by interacting with people and building rapport.
• Communicating Information by being articulate.
• Showing resilience and remaining composed when dealing with pressure.

• Ensuring adherence with cashflow and programme.
• Drafting and reviewing of cashflow and programme.
• Liaising with WCGDoI QS Department, meeting the deadlines set out by WCGDoI, drive programme and cashflow for the Management Programme.
• Managing the Management Programme’s cashflow.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Keeping the server up to date at all times.
• Ensuring that all documentation is filed correctly.
• Managing procurement.
• Managing consultant’s appointments and performance.
• Managing contractor’s appointments and performance.
• Complying with all processes and protocols.
• Management of Contracts, including JBCC and NEC.
• Checking invoices and their correctness.
• Professional reviews on Stage QS Reports.
• Reviews of Final Accounts, Tender Documents, contractor’s invoice packs, Payment Certificates and any other required documentation.
• Being a member of the Bid Evaluation Committee.
• Reviews of invoices.
• Review of appointments, additional fees, and any other related matters.
• Making sure Auditor General audits are successfully completed.
• Provide the full scope of Professional Quantity Surveying Services.
