SUMMARY:
Our client, a favourite in the FMCG arena, currently seeks a Project Accountant to assist in the performance of the Group Reporting functions, relating to projects within Finance.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

CA (SA).
Min 2 years post articles experience.
Completed articled with a "Big 4 firm" pref.
Proven technical knowledge of IFRS.
SAP experience is an advantage.

Key Performance Areas:

Monthly pack review and follow up of queries relating to the subsidiaries, including:

Foreign monthly accounts review as well as a local subsidiary monthly account review.

Assist with the preparation of the monthly SA management accounts and the Board pack.
Local and foreign subsidiary budget reviews.
Co-ordinate the completion of the template for covenant reporting and consolidation for banks.
Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements and interim results.
Perform technical research into IFRS reporting issues and analysis of results.
Assist with CO payments/new vendor creation.
Adhoc Group reporting projects/tasks and other duties as required by management.
