Project Accountant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a favourite in the FMCG arena, currently seeks a Project Accountant to assist in the performance of the Group Reporting functions, relating to projects within Finance.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

• CA (SA).
• Min 2 years post articles experience.
• Completed articled with a "Big 4 firm" pref.
• Proven technical knowledge of IFRS.
• SAP experience is an advantage.

Key Performance Areas:

• Monthly pack review and follow up of queries relating to the subsidiaries, including:
• Foreign monthly accounts review as well as a local subsidiary monthly account review.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly SA management accounts and the Board pack.
• Local and foreign subsidiary budget reviews.
• Co-ordinate the completion of the template for covenant reporting and consolidation for banks.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements and interim results.
• Perform technical research into IFRS reporting issues and analysis of results.
• Assist with CO payments/new vendor creation.
• Adhoc Group reporting projects/tasks and other duties as required by management.
