JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Coordination all financial reporting processes related to month-end, quarter, and financial year-end.
Coordination of annual group budgeting processes.
Engagement and co-ordination with external audit and co-ordination of year-end audit process.
Coordination of public reporting in line with the objectives of a listed company. Published reports, JSE SENS announcements, press releases.
Project management of ad-hoc accounting and reporting projects.
Involvement and contribution to technical accounting projects across a multi-national group.
Involvement in setting up reporting infrastructure for the international expansion initiatives.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade12)
BCom Honours in Accounting
CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed Articles
Experience within a finance/audit environment
Finance services experience would be beneficial
Good technical knowledge in accounting and IFRS knowledge

Skills & Competencies:

Attention to detail
Negotiation skills
Interpersonal skills
Analytical skills
Problem solving skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
