Project Coordinator - Irrigation Piping and Accessories Manufacturing – Brackenfell – RNeg

Irrigation Piping and Accessories Manufacturing and Projects Company seeks an experienced Project Coordinator

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor bills of material, project plans and schedules.
• Organise and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare spreadsheets and presentation materials for meetings (BOM, ETA’s etc).
• Manage project deadlines, and deliverables and follow up on ETA.
• Maintain project files with correct item codes, descriptions, sales orders, pack lists, ETA and other relevant information.
• Maintain administrative functions and file paperwork as needed.
• Maintain project CP module in SAP and files in NetDM.
• Communicate project risks and provide solutions where applicable.
• Coordinate project logistics and supervise the team to keep workflow on track.
• Ensure necessary materials are checked, properly packed, labelled and stored.
• Assist customer service as needed on project-related activities.
• Liaise with buyers, planners, product managers and warehouse personnel as needed.
• Assisting warehouse when needed (physical labour); Supervise loading and unloading of trucks/containers, counting stock, picking and packing of goods.

Education and Experience:

• Necessary skills/qualifications
• Tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or a related field of study.
• 3+ years’ experience in a related field.
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel).
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (Afrikaans and English).
• Excellent telephonic skills.
• SAP working knowledge.
• Previous experience regarding irrigation products
