Installation and Commissioning of Industrial Equipment

POSITION INFO:
Project Engineer - Richards Bay

The Project Engineer plays a key role in the Projects/Engineering department with the primary focus being on:

• Installation and commissioning of company equipment at existing customer sites and of other equipment at other sites, where diversification opportunities may arise
• Follow leads with client related to new business opportunities
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
• This position includes regular travel to Mozambique

• Engineering qualification (Diploma or Degree) or Trade Tested artisan with minimum N4
• Project Management Diploma - essential
• 5+ years multi-disciplinary project experience
• Minimum of 3 years Site execution supervision experience
• Proven working experience in project management
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Projects
• Proven ability to identify possible new projects and opportunities
• Financial comprehension pertaining to budgets and job costing
• Excellent client-facing and verbal and written communication skills in English
• Solid problem-solving ability
• Strong project planning, organizational and time management skills
• SA Citizen with a valid passport
