SUMMARY:
Our client in Midrand is looking for a Process Engineer with proven experience in projects managing multiple projects in the engineering or defence industries.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management qualification
10 years’ experience in a relevant engineering/high tech/defence industries
Proven experience in projects managing multiple projects.
Extensive experience in Project Management related to Engineering development, Production, and Product Support.

Overall Responsibilities:

To oversee the successful execution of various projects assigned to him/her. The incumbent need to be able to deliver projects on time within the agreed budget; initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects; guide, plan, communicate, coordinate, lead, support and report on projects being executed.
The Project Engineer is responsible for strategic and tactical implementation of engineering strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product development, quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising, and driving continuous improvement across all engineering related areas of the business.
Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders, customer service, manufacturing, projects and customers regarding technical support of their activities.
