We are looking for an experienced and ambitious project engineer to manage and oversee all branch personnel, supervising branch operations and ensuring efficient operations on a day-to-day basis. Improving productivity and streamlining branch activities to maximize and achieve peak performance levels. The successful candidate will value teamwork, transparency, and accountability above all else.

Position Objective: The applicant will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and coordinating all operations of the Pretoria branch.
Responsibilities:
• Daily execution and delivery of KPI’s
• Monitoring budgets and ensuring targets and objectives are met
• Responsible for overall employee management including:
o Effective leave management of all direct reports
o Effective communication management of all employee matters
o Enforcement of the company’s disciplinary code
• Overall responsibility of project supervision including:
o Planning of project components and resources
o Overseeing of the effective management of Health and Safety

Manage project materials within material cost baseline/budget
o Schedule project tasks in a daily basis
o Manage the delivery of project scope including change management
o Execution of all projects in accordance with the company’s quality control procedures
o Effective planning of procurement i.e., materials, equipment, etc.
o Effective communication with project stakeholder throughout the life span of the project
o Monitor projects and provide feedback in a structured manner
• Meeting with clients to solve issues or complaints and monitoring their feedback
• Assisting with customer service and satisfaction
• Ensure all projects are managed in accordance with the company’s business management system
• Provide head office support with timely feedback
Qualifications and experience:
• B-Tech or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Past Experience in the industry is vital
• At least 7 - 10 years’ experience in management, engineering, or a relevant business role
