This multi-disciplinary engineering business based in Pretoria is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer.  Their focused clients are typically power, water, mining and industrial firms in South Africa.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a good understanding of electrical reticulations, metering and tariffs, installation, configuration, integration and support software systems and SQL.

Education:

• B.Eng Electrical Engineering

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 2 – 3 years experience preferably within the renewables energy industry / solar panels.
• Technical support to the maintenance and support division with regards to day-to-day systems operations as well as month-end procedures.
• Execution of turnkey Automated Meter Reading projects, within project teams
• Assist with the compilation of functional design documents, factory acceptance test procedures and site acceptance test procedures
• Conducting functional design reviews, factory acceptance, test and site acceptance test.
• Assisting the business development team with designs and costing
• Fault finding and technical reporting.
