SUMMARY:
Project Engineer to oversee and manage the engineering team as well as all technical projects

POSITION INFO:

Suitable candidates must have previous working experience within a manufacturing environment which would include Robotics, Drones and/or Aerospace

Lead research and development projects for new designs, products & processes.
Develop detailed plans for new designs and products
Manage the process of bringing new products into production
Manage local and international product certifications
Assist in the formulation and implementation of patents and other IP
Create systems and processes that improve the efficiency of Engineering & Production
Schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all technical activities of projects to ensure accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Project and program budgets
Perform overall quality control of all work
Arrange and conduct project update meetings with Engineering Directors
Collaborate with procurement and finance depts for costings for final product
Draft customer project proposals
Build and manage a high performing Engineering team capable of creating world class products and bringing them to market.
Manage performance reviews, solve internal issues and mentor staff
Checking team''s work for technical accuracy
Manage QMS processes related to products and services
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.

Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Certification in Project management
Min 5 yrs experience in production or project management as a Project Engineer
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Fusion 360 essential
