SUMMARY:
Support the Project Management Team in managing multiple (small to medium-sized projects) within the base metal/smelter/furnace industry
POSITION INFO:
Consulting Engineering firm that handles ‘World-class rebuild optimization projects’ are growing their support team and require a Project Engineer (metallurgy, chemical or mechanical discipline) to support their Project Management Team in managing multiple (small to medium-sized projects) in a highly pressurized and challenging environment for a demanding and professional client that only expects excellence. You will be based at the clients site in Rustenburg.
Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Relevant qualification’s such as a Bachelor’s Degree, ND (Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical)
Skills: Project Management/Engineer within the Furnace/Mining industry
Experience/ core competencies:
5 years of experience
Must have worked in a Project, EPC/EPCM or mining house environment
Work under extreme pressure
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to solve problems
Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
Must be a self-starter
Ability work alone and part of a team
Excellent communication, organizing, planning, co-ordination, inter-personal and computer literacy (MS Office)
