JOB SUMMARY:
Are you immediately available with the experience to take on a position that involves buying and project management of customer requirements managing the process from quotation stage to closing of the deal.

Our client based in Ndabeni requires your multi-tasking ability to work in a deadline driven environment. Must be able to communicate well in English and Afrikaans and be self managed taking ownership of full job portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, relevant qualification advantageous, must have good financial acumen, accuracy with calculations
Min 5– 10 years experience with buying, dealing with clients daily
Working on projects and ensuring all deadlines are met timeously
Purchasing/buying and negotiating experience
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans to build customer relationships
Self-managed, able to work independently and take full ownership of personal job requirements
Able to work overtime when required
Working on an accounting system like quickbooks, a CRM system or sales system advantageous

DUTIES

Daily liaison with clients
Manage the buying requirements for clients needs as requested
Comparing quotations to get the best value for the clients and ensuring all costing is correct
Building relationships with customers to learn and full understand their requirements
Managing of purchases through the sales chain process to invoicing and selling of value adds that could assist the client
Negotiations with suppliers on product requirements
Preparation of accurate quotations which includes build up and take off costings
Managing the accounts
Invoicing on QuickBooks
Working as part of a team adding value to team members and ensuring the tight deadlines are achieved
Manage full process from beginning to the end.

Salary: R15 - R22k dependent on experience
