Project Manager | Personal and Commercial Lines

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 Development of local consulting methodology as to service clients across various industries across the
African continent focusing on Automotive and Device, in specific and Affinity type business in general,
which in addition to the above encompasses, sponsored programs, Sharing Economy and Private Client
Services.
 Responsible for the project management and execution of:
o Product Approval Committee (PAC)
o Regional Business Council (RBC) / Digital Business Case
o Global Change Governance (GCG)
o Business Required Document
o Operation Assessment Criteria
o Benefit Realization Analysis
 Responsible for development and management of analytics and reporting for the Commercial ;Consumer segment across all markets in Africa (both internal reporting and analytics consulting to
clients).
 Support local markets to develop and build strategic analytics capabilities.
 Support the local management in continuously developing and enhancing the value proposition for the
Commercial & Consumer segment.
 Oversee budget reporting, monthly reporting consolidation (including one-off reports) and analytics
support.
 Support all client acquisition and retention development from an analytics, reporting and business metric
modelling development perspective.
 Prepare content for client stewardship meetings to show program performance and project development.
 Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project
requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
 Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
 Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
 Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
 Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
 Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and
budget.
 Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to
enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
 Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
 Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
 Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
 Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATIONS

 Launch projects efficiently and effectively with a reduced lead time
 Develop white labelled solution appropriate to opportunity identified
 Consider most effective distribution capability for client, supported by TPAs for claims and admin
 Develop digital roadmap simultaneously to eventually convert from current capability to digital capability
 Implement and Project Manage initiative to ensure success and eventual exponential growth
 Develop digital roadmap for Affinity division

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
 Outstanding record of academic achievement.
 A bachelor’s degree or masters degree in a related field.
 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
 At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience working in fields touching analytics, data processing and
consulting. Insurance related experience is a plus.
 Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
 Strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English.
 Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
 Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with can-do attitude.
 Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
 Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
 Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
 Budget management experience.
