SUMMARY:
ð¡ Seeking a Technical Projects Project Manager (Johannesburg) for a hybrid role. Required: 5+ years of experience and skilled in IT, security, PABX, connectivity and national rollouts.

POSITION INFO:
A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale national technical projects. This role is perfect for an individual with strong organisational skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a proven track record of handling IT, security, PABX, and connectivity rollouts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous)

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, ideally in IT/Telecommunications/Office Automation
Proven ability to manage multiple large national rollouts (IT, security, PABX, and connectivity)
Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and PRINCE2)
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills (including leading customer project meetings)
Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Financial acumen with proven budget planning and cost control skills
Advantageous: Prior industry experience in telecommunications or office automation

KPA’s:

Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for national projects
Manage resources effectively (human, financial, and material)
Develop and track budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee risk management
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, customers, and technical teams
Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards
Lead national rollout projects across IT, security, PABX, and connectivity products
Oversee proper project closure including documentation, handover, and evaluation
