  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We are looking for a Project Manager with 8+ yearsâ?? experience for 12 a month contract position based in Midrand.

  This role has overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost/budget, schedule, staffing requirements and contractual deliverables

   

  • Relevant IT Diploma/Degree qualification or relevant experience
  • 8 years Project management experience

  • Willing and able to travel (international) when required

  Skills and Experience:
  • Manage internal resources in strict adherence to the companyâ??s development standards for medium to large scale and high complexity projects
  • Manage resources capacities across different projects and timelines
  • Prepare project cost budgets, timeframe estimates and milestones in conjunction with detailed client project plans
  • Manage different stakeholders within the department and on the client side
  • Monitor project performance, progress, and risk status
  • Recommend to client the risk mitigating plans
  • Communicate with project stakeholders to manage expectations on project deliverables
  • Report project status financials to client and management team
  • Adherence to system security measures with SMP
  • Development and Operations of applications and features
  • System implementation
  • Testing and compliance
  • Working in the Agile framework
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
  • Be willing to have discussions with customers
  • Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality

  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
  • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
  Key Accountabilities:
  • At least 5 full cycle Application implementations experience (project preparation to implementation)
  • AWM training and experience as an Agile Master
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of PMO activities
  • Project Financials
  • Combination of project management, functional and technical skills
  • Jira and Confluence
  • SAP BO
  • Test Automation
  • Qliksense
  • Oracle, Postgres (SQL) (relational databases understanding)
  • Informatica (advantageous)
  • AWS
