POSITION INFO:
Project Manager required to join a well renowned distribution company on a 6 month contract, offering a rate of £450-£475 per day. The company are based in Glasgow and due to the nature of the role are expecting you to be on site 4-5 days a week, so living within a commutable distance is essential.
The company are currently in the middle of doing a large scale system implementation and are looking to bring in a Project Manager in order to specifically help with the implementation of a new IFS financial software. You will be responsible for seeing this project from end to end and ensuing that the project is completed within the set time frame. You will also be responsible for driving the team forward and providing key insights between the team and any 3rd party suppliers.
You will be an experienced Project Manager who is well rehearsed in working on a variety of software delivery projects and although not essential, it would be beneficial if you had specific experience working with any IFS software. Excellent stakeholder management skills are a must, and you will have a proven ability in dealing with stakeholders, speaking with 3rd party vendors, assessing budget, and sticking to set timeframes.
Key Skills and Experiences:
** Experience seeing software delivery projects from conception through to rollout
** Working with stakeholders to ascertain current and future requirements
** Documentation, analysis, and operation support
** Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
