Our client, a national and well-established retail services company, seeks to employ a experienced and qualified Project Manager to join their team in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

We are seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated and creative individual, who is excited about growth with the following credentials:

• 5 plus years of experience in retail design and layout project management.
• Manage all phases of new store construction projects from design conception through procurement, build out, store opening and project close out.
• Establish and track project budgets and schedules.
• Communicate and report the status of budgets and schedule to internal partners.
• Issue request for proposals and procure millwork , flooring, lighting and systems.
• Supervise all on-site activities.
• Manage general contractor and vendors on a daily basis throughout the project.
• Responsible for the completion of projects within the established schedule and budget.
• Partner closely with the Store Design Manager by providing estimating and value engineering support.
• Partner and closely communicate with internal teams on project schedule, key dates and site conditions that are imperative to each team’s new store opening responsibilities.
• Issue an updated new store opening schedule weekly
• Ability to multitask , prioritize and follow through
• Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficient and advanced computer skills. (Revit , Microsoft Word and Excel )
• Ability to interpret and advise on blueprints, drawings, specifications, and methods, a must
• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% % of the time
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
