JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client, a world leading provider of transport solutions with sales of trucks, buses, engines & services, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Responsibility

Manage projects, sub-projects and to some extent programs professionally, according to approved Project Management Process and within the Project Management System chosen for that purpose, mastering both process and system fully.
This is achieved by demonstrating a high ability to deliver and ability to assess the business's short- and long-term needs also representing the company in both national and international contexts.

Professional Competencies

Project Preparation Create plan, budget and set-up the necessary project organisation based on assigned project and Assignment Directive

Set up the project organization, revise and adapt when needed
Review and if applicable suggest improvements and changes to the Assignment Directive
Add further necessary descriptions and definitions
Create budget proposal for approval
Create a project plan
Prepare and present project assignment, project plan etc. in executive team decision meetings and other forums
Follow-up decisions and set deadline
Act on deviations early through and escalation when necessary
Collaborate and seek support from Portfolio Manager and Corporate company when necessary
Take part in competence development and training activities to stay up to date on process and project management system

Project Execution Continually manage the execution of defined plan, ensuring follow-up of project management process, seeking support when needed.

Ensure project is on track, moving forward, within defined budget by:

Daily follow-up based on project management routines
Ad hear to defined decision-making documentation
Manage issues, obstacles and problems
Monitor and manage risks, escalate when needed
Ensure smooth and precise communication to all stakeholders,
Use and update project management system is used continually
Lead project activities and meeting
Thoroughly follow up decisions, deadlines and milestones
Lead and motivate the team and/or project organisation to achieve established goals

Project Conclusion Ensure fulfilment and closure of project in complete and professional way.

Ensure fulfilment, closure, evaluation and follow-up of projects
Create a final report concluding the project, its results and/or findings.
Present closing report to stakeholders and applicable forums

Improvement work according to the company's Way

Understand and act according to the company's way frame work
Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate them
Contribute in daily follow-up, daily steering
Participate and contribute in improvement activities based on a standardized working method
