JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecommunications Sector requires a Project Manager on a contract position.
The ideal candidate should have strong Project Management experience with a good understanding of Agile and transitioning to Scrum.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities will include:

Always sharing and ensuing that the stakeholders are aligned to vision of the project.
Own new demand deliverables to ensure projects are adequately and timeously prepared for PI grooming and delivery.
Facilitate DOC and DOR sessions to ensure successful PI planning
Work very closely with Business Analyst and Solution architect to ensure deliverables are tracked.
Booking of projects via PI and PI JIRA fields completed.
Planning a project, reviewing that plan, and ensuring it goes ahead.
Facilitate the sharing of Templates and storing in JIRA for Requirement and Technical designs. Ensure correct versions are being executed upon

Consult stakeholders on obstacles, impediments, risks, issues are managed and decisions that could shape the project or the delivery of the project.
Facilitate the hand over to Support and user training and considered as part of project deliverables - transition to Ops both admin support and system Ops support
Take ownership to escalate project blockers when needed, timeously address with RTE once all avenues have been explored

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Have strong experience PM in Telecoms and banking, working on IT projects.
Understand how to manage complex dependencies
Owning projects end to end using various PM tools
Able to work on multiple projects facilitating teams
JIRA experience
