SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is currently in the process of recruiting a Project Manager to establish an environment of consistent and repeatable project execution and predictable outcomes both on customer and internal projects in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Train, educate and lead fellow employees in successful project delivery
Manage projects according to standards and methodologies set by the employing organisation
Ability to learn new technologies and contribute to non-PM project activities.
Adapt and deliver on various tasks and duties that will be assigned from time to time
Be a key player and contributor in the national PMO in contributing and improving tools, techniques, and governance and demonstrating and active support of these values.

Qualifications and Experience

Matric or Grade 12 essential
Bachelors-degree or suitable Business Analysis Qualification – preferred.
PMP, PMBOK certification – highly advantageous
PMPBOK training attendance – essential
Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
7-10 years experience in IT projects.
Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging.
Administratively strong with attention to detail
Confident and persuasive negotiator
Ability to successfully engage with a wide spectrum of role players include C Level executives
Promotes active listening with team members.
Contributes appropriately to strategic conversations.
Understanding of Information Technologies.
Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver''s license.
Willingness and ability to travel
