SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is currently in the process of recruiting a Project Manager to establish an environment of consistent and repeatable project execution and predictable outcomes both on customer and internal projects in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Train, educate and lead fellow employees in successful project delivery
• Manage projects according to standards and methodologies set by the employing organisation
• Ability to learn new technologies and contribute to non-PM project activities.
• Adapt and deliver on various tasks and duties that will be assigned from time to time
• Be a key player and contributor in the national PMO in contributing and improving tools, techniques, and governance and demonstrating and active support of these values.

• Matric or Grade 12 essential
• Bachelors-degree or suitable Business Analysis Qualification – preferred.
• PMP, PMBOK certification – highly advantageous
• PMPBOK training attendance – essential
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• 7-10 years experience in IT projects.
• Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging.
• Administratively strong with attention to detail
• Confident and persuasive negotiator
• Ability to successfully engage with a wide spectrum of role players include C Level executives
• Promotes active listening with team members.
• Contributes appropriately to strategic conversations.
• Understanding of Information Technologies.
• Understands basic Internet and client/server architectures.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver''s license.
• Willingness and ability to travel
