SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity due to clients'' exponential growth - Project Manage the extension of their factory.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is a leading supplier in the food manufacturing industry. Due to their exponential growth they are looking for a Project Manager to guide the building of the extension to their factory. This is a 12 month contract and we are looking for a strong candidate who is able to negotiate well and keep the project timelines on track.

Requirements:

Must have led a project greater than R40M

Must have experience in working in a Food manufacturing company

Familiar with OSH act requirements when it comes to construction safety

Must have had experience in building a factory or relocating a factory preferably in the food industry

Must show experience in being hands on and dealing with contractors.

Must be able to read plans and drawings.

Able to understand Electrical Diagrams, P&ID and process flows.

Ability to negotiate really well and be forceful at times to keep project timelines on track.

Ability to scope out work and create tender documents for quoting.

Broad network of contractors in electrical, piping, mechanical work.
