POSITION INFO:
Role Overview:
They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in municipal infrastructure to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, engaging with municipal stakeholders, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end management of municipal infrastructure projects from inception to close-out.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, municipal requirements, and engineering standards.
Liaise with municipalities, consultants, contractors, and community representatives.
Manage risks, resolve issues, and implement effective project controls.
Monitor progress, prepare reports, and maintain quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (BTech or BSc preferred).
Professional registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) will be an advantage.
Minimum 8 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a project management role on municipal infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of water, sanitation, roads, and stormwater systems.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
