Project Rollout Manager

SUMMARY:
Our Cape Town based client seeks the services of an established Project Rollout Manager to assist the project manager to plan, monitor and control the project and make sure the project is running against the schedule closely.

POSITION INFO:

• Site PAC quality control to 2G/3G/4G/5G NSB/ BTS /RF site upgrade/Swap/ Microwave / Transmission equipment.

• At least 5 years experiences in the project management of telecommunication profession.
• Be familiar with the project plan, monitor and control, especially with the milestone management and risk management.
• Be a good communicator with sound negotiation skills and other skills (such as: computer knowledge and skill, Written and spoken English, business writing skills and Analytical skills).
• Assist project manager to finish the project baseline and revise it if necessary, during the implementation, project quality planning(targets/standard/organization) and control, to reach goals and objectives and contract requirements.
• Setup project standard, organize internal and external quality training, build the model sites for training, achieve 100% self-check from subcontractor, implement project random quality check, improve project quality to achieve site acceptance targets.
• Monitoring major quality problems, customer problems and preventive measures till closure.
• Monthly KPI evaluation of each subcontractor and internal quality team from quality point of view.
• Maintains all required documentation, internal/external quality related documents management, collecting and sending to other teams.
• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Assessing suppliers'' and own company''s product specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Considering the application of environmental and health/safety standards
• Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
• Monitor and control the progresses of each sub-team to make sure the project running against the schedule (baseline)
• Working with subcontractor to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
• Alarm the related sub-teams to avoid the potential risks and problems.
• Analysis and scrutinize the trouble happened and figure out the proper way to assist the project manager to solve it or revise the schedule accordingly.
