SUMMARY:
Are you seeking an exciting new career move? A leading energy company is looking to expand its team where you will be responsible for managing offshore projects, electrical designs, install, and commission automation projects.

POSITION INFO:

Design, install, troubleshoot, program, and commission VSD systems on Siemens, ABB, or Danfoss.
Design, install, troubleshoot, program, and commission PLC systems.
Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed designs on Electrical. Electronic and C&I-related projects.
Designing and commissioning of switchboards, motor control centers, and remote IO Panels.
Test and commission electrical systems locally and offshore.
Compile data packs and technical reports for completed projects and field service-related activities.
Support engineering and maintenance departments with training.
Implement cost-effective solutions for updating existing applications.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
Professional registration with ECSA advantageous
Extensive experience with AutoCAD Electrical
Experience with commissioning and fault-finding variable speed drives.
Experience with installing, servicing, and commissioning ABB and Danfoss VSD’s
Experience with ETAP, TIA Portal S7 Simatic Manager

Qualification:
BTech/NDip in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
