SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate with extensive experience in Project Managing the move and set up of their manufacturing facility to new premises.

POSITION INFO:

Critical that you have managed a similar project with a project value of over R40 million. You will be required to organise, lead, and ensure the scope of the project fits the budget and each phase of the project is completed within the scheduled timeline

Key Role Responsibilities

Liaison with executives and department heads to ensure that organizational goals are met
Meet with the various stakeholders to detail the requirements of the premises/project plan
Facilitate and drive projects i.e. identifying project team, infrastructure, communication, timeframes, resources labour, measurements, relevant skills, feedback etc
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget
Manage project budget for building relocations
Manage and execute the project within the timelines which will include a detailed relocation plan
Co-ordinate meetings with interior design company’s to prepare a layout and design
Liaise with the various support services such as IT to ensure the timeous installation
Ensure the requirements of HVAC, flooring, furniture, blinds, ablutions, and parking are in place
Ensure services for security and cleaning are in place
Ensure approvals from the landlord are received and filed for record purposes
Have oversight of any construction and/or 3rd party requirements or installations and sign off
Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices
