Property Analyst

Our client is a business financier for viable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the world. They are passionate about financing, supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs. They have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Property Analyst in their investment team at their Bellville offices.

Responsibilities:

• Networking and Marketing by developing relationships with intermediaries and other role players in the property and finance industry to generate deal flow.
• Design deal structures that will accommodate the client’s needs as well as comply with the company’s policies.
• Conduct due diligence to determine viability of:
  • Investment in commercial properties to improve the existing property portfolio of our client.
  • Equity investment in joint ventures relating to commercial properties.
  • Providing funding to SME’s who wish to purchase their own business properties.
• Compile investment proposal report for submission to and approval by the relevant investment committees.
• Portfolio management, (maintain relationships with clients and attend management meetings for equity investments in joint ventures).

Requirements:

• A Bcom degree in Accounting, Finance or another business-related field. (A Property Investment related degree will be advantageous.)
• 4 Or more years of experience in property investment/property finance structuring.
• Experience in auditing, banking and/or sales and marketing will be advantageous.
• The individual needs to possess the ability to build and maintain relationships, have strong negotiation skills and be results focused.

Area: Bellville

Salary: R30k – R40k p.m. (depending on experience)

Type: This is a Mon – Fri; in-office position.
