SUMMARY:
Are you a Property Legal Administrator or a Property Manager looking to specialise within legal administration or are you a Paralegal with some relevant property experience looking for a challenging role?
Our well-established International clients Legal Administration team has grown and needs your expertise to meet the increasing demands for their clients.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
Matric, excellent academic qualifications
Experience within the residential property sector
Legal knowledge - transfer and mortgage of Leasehold and Freehold property, Land Registry titles & Requisitions.
Experience in dealing with solicitors, conveyancers and surveyors
Managing Landlord and Tenant relationships.
Excellent customer care, communicate effectively & working to strict deadlines
Computer literate & understanding and knowledge of Landlord and Tenants Acts.
Understanding of the legal conveyancing process.
 
DUTIES
Dealing with replies to presale and remortgage enquiries in accordance with internal processes, timescales and ensuring income generation for activities
Processing Notices of Transfer and Charge and updating ownership records
Liaison with external solicitors instructed to prepare formal Deeds and Licence documents
Reviewing & processing legal requests for title documents and leases
Co-ordinating client’s response to statutory and voluntary lease extension requests
Provide administration services to client exercising collective enfranchisement
Maintaining Company Secretarial records
Processing applications including subletting of property, keeping pets, minor alterations and works in accordance with the lease and client’s instruction
Considering application for major alterations or extensions & liaising with external solicitors on the production of Licences and other documents required to record such consents.
Ensure income generation for such activities.
Updating processes and procedures
Develop & maintain relationships with Landlords, RMC and RTM directors.
Execute company documents i.e. Licences, Deeds, Share Certificates.
Draft procedures for clients - landlord matters such as subletting, alterations etc.
Providing guidance to Property Managers, Finance and Major Works team for enquiries on Lease interpretation, disputes, Land Registry searches & landlord/tenant matters
Manage KPIs including fee income generation
Participate in team, departmental and corporate project and planning processes
Maintain accurate leasehold ownership records.
Develop/maintain relationships with solicitors, insurers, surveyors
 
Salary: R30k  dependent on experience
