• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in line with FSB’s qualification
requirements
• Certified Financial Planner (preferred)
• Registered Key Individual

• 10+ years’ experience in the tied agency industry
• 5+ years'' experience managing tied agents within the financial services
industry
• 5 + years’ of leading the establishment and development of a
provincial/regional/national footprint of financial advisors
• 3+ years’ experience in technology utilisation in financial services

Execute the MFP agency growth and
advice strategy in line with
• Understands market dynamics, economic and political opportunities provincially and responds appropriately to
environmental threats.
• Identify, implement and oversee initiatives aimed at growing advice portfolio provincially
o Collaborate with brand and marketing team to plan and execute initiatives to expand the network and
engage networks, franchises and advisors.
o Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunity for growth
o Be the brand ambassador for MFP
• Adhere consistently to the process of recruiting, assessment and appointing financial advisers to ensure sustainable
vesting and growth of adviser force
• Ensure all strategic and operational capabilities within the provincial context perform according to contracted
accountabilities
• Establish and maintain insight to sales pipelines
• Establish and maintain insight into footprint growth pipeline
• Develop plans and tactics for the achievement of footprint growth
• Set new business targets in terms of growth and engagement and drive the achievement of targets to increase new
business and the acquisition of new clients
• Leading sales managers and support specialists to enable financial advisers to vest and expand their practice while
achieving sales targets through credible and professional advice:
• Generate interest for MFP value proposition in specific geographical locations.
• Develop and implement new business development plans with regards to growth and engagement, which will expand
presence in existing markets, penetrate new markets and develop new client relationships in line with the ethos of
client centricity and legislative requirements.
• Drive vertical integration through wealth management and retail solutions;
• Lead the provincial team to enable advisers to professionally manage their practices,
• Drive and embed a culture of advice through enabling, recognising and rewarding advice centred behaviours
• Lead the adoption of technology, relevant platforms and digital ways of work to enhance the sustainability of financial
planning practices
Engage with practices in a client centric

• Create strategic partnerships with advisers and relevant stakeholders to understand business priorities and
requirements.
• Ensure the provision of credible and appropriate expertise and advice to advisers with the purpose to enable client
growth and retention,
• Build and maintain relationships with advisers, sales managers and enablement specialists to deliver on service level
agreements in line with expectations
• Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
• Participate and contribute to a culture which builds sustainable relationships, facilitates feedback and provides
exceptional client service
• Work in conjunction with brand and marketing manager to advisers and practice development managers to deploy
effective strategies towards client growth and retention.

• Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
• Manage high risk and financial issues in area of accountability
• Implement and manage financial risk methodologies, techniques and systems and use to monitor and report on
financial activities.
• Investigate reported wilful acts of non-compliance to organisation policy and practice and report on findings.
• Control the budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
• Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
• Implement risk management, governance and compliance policies in own practice area, to identify and manage
governance and risk exposure
