  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We have a 12 month contract for a Proxy Product Owner.

  • Manage 2 technical full stack Java developer teams (4 people) as a Product Owner to fulfil the prioritised requirements for 2 applications using the Agile methodology.
  • Collaborate with international Business Product Owners and colleagues across multiple sites/locations.
  • Give structure to workshops and meetings to help lead and facilitate the teamâ??s agile way of working. This includes facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization teams/Agile, i.e. â??closing the loopâ? and â??getting things doneâ?.
  • Creation of Product Backlogs with business stakeholders using JIRA.
  • Monitoring team development progress and ensure that user stories are completed on time.
  • Facilitate requirement clarification with business.
  • First contact person for business for errors, issues, and new functionalities (feasibility testing).
  • Refinement and prioritization of Product Backlog Items with business stakeholders using JIRA.
  • Ensuring of the agreed quality (Team-DoR/-DoD and Stakeholder-Requirements).
  • Assist business users with testing of the 2 applications.
  • Approval of the developed Product Increments (Sprint Review).
  • Budget steering, forecasting and planning (resources, infrastructure, licenses).
  Skills and Experience:

  Technical skills:

  • Leadership skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach.
  • Business process-related and IT-technical understanding of product scope (including operational know-how).
  • Competence in the conception of a product through to the definition and evaluation of requirements at user story level.
  • Agile mindset and know-how (of agile processes and principles)
  • Management, Stakeholder and escalation competence.
  • Planning ability (business and financial) and competence in problem solving
  • Decision-making ability for prioritization.
    Strong IT Software development skills not required, but would be beneficial:
