What You’ll Be Doing
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design to implementation, testing, and production deployment.
- Contribute to strategic product improvements with a strong business mindset.
- Work with highly sensitive financial data in a secure and performance-driven environment.
- Continuously improve development practices and code quality.
- Perform quality assurance and testing before production releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, accountants, analysts, and leadership.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members in best practices and frameworks.
- Explore and implement modern technologies to optimise performance and scalability.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or strong proven development experience).
- Experience developing within a web framework.
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and deadline-driven.
Advantageous Skills
- Python and/or Django
- Numerical libraries such as NumPy or Pandas
- Front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Git version control
- Cybersecurity knowledge
