QA Automation Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced QA Automation Specialist. Our client, a well-established and dynamic asset management company is looking for an excelling professional to take over the responsibility of identifying, developing and delivering Intelligent Automation for processes. 

Key responsibilities of the position:

• Supports the deployment of approved robotic code into the production environment
• Maintains the daily administration of the automation software production environment
• Schedule and run Blue Prism processes
• Case Management, managing and allocating process workloads
• Ensure the stability of the Blue Prism IT environment (monitoring resources, etc..)
• Manages and investigates level 1 RPA exceptions (infrastructure and process exceptions)
• Escalates level 2 business exceptions to appropriate business unit or coordinating Business Unit Operations Manager
• Resolves level 1 RPA exceptions
• Assisting in the provision of timely responses and solutions as required
• Raise change requests or support calls where required
• Supports operational and performance metrics reporting
• Communicating with Blue Prism on software related issues, suggesting improvements and participating with other users in the Blue Prism community

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related Engineering discipline.

5 years QA automation experience of industry and development within the financial services sector.

A track record in the successful delivery and support of excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuring/scripting type technology.
