QA Release Pharmacist

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a candidate with Production and QA pharmacy experience within a manufacturing environment to start as soon as possible

POSITION INFO:

• Establishment, maintenance and promotion of the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives throughout the organisation to increase awareness, motivation and involvement, in order to create an environment where stakeholders are engaged.

o   Support the Quality Management System, draft policies and ensure that objectives are established in each procedure.

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance Release System activities in accordance with GxP and Operational requirements.

o   To oversee and manage the following functions within the QMS Function:
Scanning Documentation;
Filing Documentation;
Storing Documentation;
Initial Batch Document Checks;
Communication of Batch Release Status to Clients;                            Storing of Retention Samples.

 ·         Identification of the responsible persons in each facility and the reporting lines between the parties.

• Manage the QA batch release process.
• Not releasing a batch of product where a deviation has occurred, without confirming that integrity, quality, safety or efficacy of product is not adversely affected.

Requirements:

Requirements:

• Qualified Pharmacist

• Must be registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

• Preferably 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical production environment of which 2 years should be in Quality Assurance
