QA Specialist (Software Tester)

SUMMARY:
A trusted technology provider in the agricultural space is seeking a QA Specialist with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. This is a full-time hybrid role suited for testers passionate about quality, traceability, and logistics-driven platforms.

POSITION INFO:

My client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join their high-performing team supporting an end-to-end produce brokering solution. This web-based system offers financial, logistical, and compliance functionality for exporters, agents, and logistics providers, with visibility from producer to port.

You’ll work in a collaborative product environment alongside developers, business analysts, and support staff to ensure features meet functional expectations and industry standards. The role spans usability, exploratory, regression, and UAT testing across both web and mobile platforms. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing automated test scripts using Test Café (TypeScript) and validating backend data through SQL and API testing tools like Postman.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA or software testing
Strong background in manual and automated testing
Solid understanding of regression, functional, and performance testing
Experience with Test Café (TypeScript) for automation
Familiarity with SQL and tools like Postman for API and backend validation
Exposure to agile development methodologies
Advantageous: experience in agricultural systems or logistics platforms
Bonus: working knowledge of Java, .NET, C#, or Clarion

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
ISTQB or similar certification in software testing preferred
