QA Systems Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG industry has an opportunity available for a QA Systems Administrator in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric
• A qualification in food technology or food science or Dairy Specific Diploma
• Quality and Food Safety Management Systems Certificate
• Lead Auditors Certificate. Preferably a SAACTA Accrediation
• 3-5 years experience in similar role
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
• Knowledge of Food Safety standards and legislation. (HACCP/ISO principles and practices)
• Knowledge of internal auditing processes and practices for food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of methods to conduct taste tests and score products accordingly and consistently
• Administration skills, ability to translate information into practical document formats
• Attention to detail

• Stay abreast with Food Safety Development by attending relevant seminars
• Develop and maintain all Quality Document systems
• HACCP/ISO policies and procedures is developed in accordance to internal processes
• Conduct process audits
• GMP Audits are conducted and monitored to ensure that the factories comply to standards at all times
• Develop audit documentation
• Daily taste panels are set up and scores recorded
• Monitor all Return to Manufacturing products on a monthly basis
• Maintain the quality risk register
• Coordinate pest control contractor and ensure compliance in regards with requirements for Pest Control standards
• Ensure timeous reports on QA results for all facilities
• Identify and describe risks in area of responsibility and ensure risk are rated and documented on risk register
